Bethany Bender joined the Study Groups team in 2021 providing group support and meeting planning services. She has a background in program coordination working within local schools as well as providing administrative support for a variety of organizations. She graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in Spanish. Bethany and her husband, Josh, live in Bellingham with their two young daughters.
Libby Chartier joined the Study Groups team in 2015, and is part of the data support team. Libby also works as an administrator for a local solar electric design and installation company. She and her husband Gabe live in Bellingham, Washington with their two small, cute children.
Roxie Comstock joined Study Groups in 2021 as the Director of Member Development. She is responsible for the on-going development, growth and promotion of Study Groups’ member-based groups. Her focus is on connecting business leaders with one another to form mutually beneficial relationships that last a lifetime. Community builder and servant leader at heart, Roxie has almost 20 years’ experience in marketing, sales and leadership roles.
Beth De Koster joined the Study Groups team in 2016 doing support work and meeting planning. Prior to working with Study Groups, Beth worked in the Banking Industry for over 25 years in Operations and Internal Audit. Beth and her husband, Kevin, make their home in Bellingham, WA., and have one son.
Janelle Junior joined the Study Groups team in 2016 doing support work and meeting planning. Prior to working with Study Groups, Janelle was a Marketing Director for a local Investment Advisory Firm and an Account Executive with UPS-SCS prior to that. Janelle and her husband, James, live in Bellingham, WA and have three young children.
Robyn Kindlund came on board with Study Groups in 2000. Robyn, who lives in Bellingham, serves as administrative assistant responsible for coordinating details for all study groups and bookkeeping for the corporation. Robyn also does group support work and meeting planning, and directs women’s ministries at her local church. She and her husband Kevin were married in 1988 and have two adult daughters.
Amber Langford joined Study Groups in 2021, and provides group support and meeting planning. She has a degree in Biology, and has a background in plant genetic research, and previously taught as a part-time college instructor. She lives in Upstate New York with her husband and small children.
Lisa Langford has worked with study groups since 1990 and lives in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. Lisa enjoys providing support for numerous groups along with her additional role as New Membership Coordinator. Lisa is active in the meetings industry and is passionate about its role in bringing awareness and action to issues involving human trafficking.
Shara Pagels has worked in the financial industry for the last decade as a financial adviser and in operations management for investment advisory firms. She has her degree in business administration, accounting from Washington State University and currently lives in Bellingham, WA.
Ken Rice joined Study Groups in 2022 as part of our Membership Development team. As a former Petroleum Study Group member and COO of several privately held companies Ken has a unique perspective of the value of Study Groups for company leadership. With over 40 years of leadership experience managing privately held companies he will assist in our efforts to continue to grow our member-based groups with a focus on expanding into related industries.
Hillary Rockwell joined Study Groups in 2022, providing group support and meeting planning services. She has a technical writing and editing background, along with meeting support and administrative experience. In her free time, Hillary enjoys creative writing, exploring new places with her family and staying strong with physical fitness classes. She lives with her husband of 20 years and their teenage son in Blaine, WA.
Ramah Rockwell joined the Study Groups team in 2021, providing group support and meeting planning. Her background includes digital marketing and web design. Ramah lives with her husband and two children in Bellingham, WA.
Caitlin Roeter joined the Study Groups team in 2020, providing group support and meeting planning services. She has a background in creative merchandising management and graduated from Western Washington University. After living in Miami, Detroit and Los Angeles, Caitlin and her husband now make their home in Bellingham, WA with their 3 sons.
Gretchen Rupp joined the Study Groups team in 2018. She provides group support and meeting planning. Prior to Study Groups, Gretchen spent the last decade working in education. Gretchen and her husband, Kevin, live in Bellingham, WA and have three young children
Karly Smaciarz joined the Study Groups team in 2022 providing support work and meeting planning. Prior to working with Study Groups, Karly worked in Sales in the Consumer Packaged Goods space as well as Marketing & Promotions for Radio and TV. A graduate of the University of Washington, she is an avid Husky fan. She currently lives in Snoqualmie, WA with her husband, three kids and a puppy.
Cindy Talbot joined the Study Groups team in 2006. Cindy provides support services for several study groups and also serves the Study Groups team as a financial reporting specialist. She and her husband Frank live in Ferndale, Washington and have four grown children.
